Meram collects no data. Everything it knows stays on your iPhone.
- No account and no sign-in.
- No server. Meram never sends your data anywhere.
- No analytics, no ads and no tracking.
- Delete the app and everything it stored is gone.
What Meram stores, and where
To work, Meram keeps a small record on your iPhone: the apps you chose to seal, the limits you set, the intentions you write, how long each app was open, and whether you answered Done or Got lost. It is stored in the app's private storage and in an App Group shared only with Meram's own extensions and widgets on the same iPhone.
Screen Time
Meram uses Apple's Screen Time (the Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks) to seal the apps you choose. Apple gives Meram anonymous tokens for those apps, not their names or what you do inside them. Meram never sees your messages, posts or browsing.
Apple Intelligence
Where your iPhone supports it, Meram uses Apple's on-device language model to sort an intention into a kind, such as a reply or a quick check, and to write a short weekly note. This runs on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to Apple or to us.
Live Activities and widgets
The Lock Screen check-in and the widgets read the same on-device record. They show what you wrote on your own screen and send nothing anywhere.
What Meram never does
- It never creates an account or asks for your name, email or phone number.
- It never collects analytics, crash reports with personal data, or advertising identifiers.
- It never sells or shares data, because it has none to sell or share.
Your choices
You can export your record as a file from Settings in the app. You can remove every seal from Settings at any time. To delete everything, delete the app.
Children
Meram does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
